In this role, you will be responsible for preparing shipments, verifying orders, coordinating with shipping carriers, and maintaining accurate records. Your attention to detail and understanding of logistics are key to ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our customers. We are committed to workplace safety and provide all necessary training and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Accurately package products and prepare them for shipment, ensuring secure transit.
- Verify shipment contents against invoices and shipping orders for accuracy.
- Schedule and coordinate with various freight carriers for timely pickups.
- Operate shipping software to create labels, manifests, and track shipments.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date shipping documentation and records.
- Ensure compliance with all carrier regulations and company shipping policies.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including proper Lifting techniques.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external carrier representatives.
- Keep the shipping and receiving area clean, orderly, and well-stocked.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk, Warehouse Associate, or in a related logistics role is required.
- Proficiency with shipping software and common office applications.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of shipping procedures and general logistics principles.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Physical ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
