Anticipated Duration: weeks
Shift: 10 hour days, 6 days a week - Dayshift and Nightshift available
Rate: $ $45.00/hour, based on experience level
What You Will Do
- Implement HSE policies, procedures, and programs tailored to the unique challenges of Non-Destructive Testing and Rope Access operations.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams, including NDT technicians and Rope Access technicians, on safety protocols, equipment usage, and emergency procedures.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action initiatives to prevent recurrence of accidents, near misses, and environmental incidents.
- Deliver engaging safety training sessions and toolbox talks to enhance awareness and promote a strong safety culture among all employees, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of evolving safety regulations, industry standards, and technological advancements in Non-Destructive Testing and Rope Access techniques, and incorporate relevant updates into HSE programs.
- Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and clients to ensure that HSE requirements are effectively integrated into project planning, execution, and completion stages.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for HSE inquiries, concerns, and reporting, fostering open communication channels and building trust across the organization.
What You Will Bring
- 3+ years work experience in Health, Safety, and Environment.
- Specific knowledge and expertise in Non-Destructive Testing and/or Rope Access is an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong understanding of Alberta's regulatory environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
