Seeking a skilled Forklift Operator for our Colorado Springs, Colorado warehouse. This position is critical for the efficient movement of materials and inventory within our logistics center. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will ensure that materials are handled properly and that the warehouse remains organized and accessible. A valid forklift certification is required. This role demands attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with other warehouse personnel to maintain smooth operations and support logistics objectives. Proper use of PPE is mandatory at all times. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced forklift operators to join a reputable company in the logistics industry. Responsibilities include inspecting equipment before use, loading and unloading trucks, and assisting with inventory management. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Inspect forklift equipment before and after each shift, reporting any issues.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate location records.
- Organize warehouse space to optimize efficiency and accessibility.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper lifting techniques and mandatory PPE usage.
- Transport materials to and from production or shipping areas.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to wearing required PPE.
