Cross-Border Security Specialist

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agency seeks a skilled professional to serve as a Cross-Border Security Specialist.

• To enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations at ports of entry.
• To facilitate legitimate trade and travel while preventing illegal activity.

A minimum of one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level is required. This includes detaining suspected violators using proper law enforcement methods, enforcing import/export laws, utilizing intelligence techniques for risk assessments, conducting interviews in a law enforcement capacity for information gathering purposes.
