Patrol Security Officer

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection is seeking highly skilled Law Enforcement Officers to serve as full-time career Border Patrol Agents.

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws,
• Preventing and apprehending aliens at or near borders using surveillance equipment,

Candidates must meet the following physical fitness requirements: body mass index (BMI) not greater than 40%

• Achieve a minimum score of 14 in each event on the treadmill stress test;


• Pull-ups with both hands; achieve a maximum heart rate during aerobic capacity exercise (ACE), no more than 185 beats per minute;
