This is a critical role for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated by continuous improvement. You won't just execute the accounting cycle; you will analyze it, refine it, and ensure its integrity. This role offers high visibility and the opportunity to influence our financial operations as we optimize.

YOUR MISSION
  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. This includes high-level journal entries, complex reconciliations, and the preparation of financial statement packages.

  • Support the Treasury Lead by providing accurate data for cash flow forecasting and assisting with day-to-day banking and treasury coordination.

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll administration, ensuring absolute compliance with multijurisdictional regulatory filings.

  • Act as a right hand to the Controller, spearheading ad-hoc financial projects and driving reporting efficiencies.

  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors, ensuring all requirements are met with precision and transparency.

  • Ensure rigorous adherence to US GAAP/IFRS and lead the maintenance of internal controls and detailed accounting documentation.

YOUR PROFILE
  • 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience. A background in Public Accounting (Big 4 or mid-tier) is a strong asset.

  • CPA designation (active) or a CPA candidate in the final stages of certification.

  • Proficiency in Excel (Lookups, pivots, and complex formulas). Experience with Sage Intacct is ideal.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and pivot priorities effectively within a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.

  • A proactive, "owner" mentality with a track record of identifying and implementing process improvements.

  • Exceptional interpersonal abilities with the skill to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for cross-functional stakeholders.

  • A strong understanding of Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) and a commitment to data integrity.

WHY JOIN US?
  • Gain deep exposure to US GAAP, IFRS, and public company reporting in a role that values initiative.

  • We offer a collaborative, flexible remote work environment.

  • Join a team that values diverse perspectives and celebrates individual contributions to our collective success.

  • Competitive senior-level salary and comprehensive benefits.
