customs trade enforcement specialist

We are seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to fill Customs and Border Protection Officer positions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.

Your primary duties will include facilitating the flow of legitimate trade and travel while preventing the illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods into the United States. You must have excellent judgment skills to make rapid decisions regarding admissibility determinations.

• Detaining suspected violators using proper law enforcement methods


• Enforcing laws related to importing/exporting merchandise from/to the US


• Utilizing intelligence techniques to identify potential threats


• Candidate should possess strong analytical thinking abilities in identifying patterns/risk assessments;

We offer a competitive salary range ($61,111 - $124,443 per year), locality pay varies based on duty location
In addition to your annual base salary , CBPOs are eligible for up-to-date overtime payments – fully trained officers can earn an extra $45k
