As a key member of the Federal Law Enforcement profession, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the American people by securing our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity.

• Detect suspicious activities and inspect documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.


• Prevent and apprehend aliens and smugglers at or near the borders using surveillance techniques.


• Analyze information rapidly and make prompt decisions to ensure public safety.


• Patrol international boundaries using various government assets for mission accomplishment.
