CNC Machinist

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our production team. This role is hands-on and ownership-driven—ideal for someone who understands the full machining process from print to finished part. You will be responsible for setting up, programming, and running CNC milling or turning equipment while maintaining quality, efficiency, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling or CNC lathe machines
• Interpret and work directly from engineering drawings and specifications
• Program parts at the machine or using CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar)
• Create complete machine setups, including fixturing and workholding
• Touch off tools, set tool offsets, and verify part zero locations
• Perform first-article inspections and make necessary program or setup adjustments
• Monitor machining processes to ensure quality, accuracy, and cycle efficiency
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist (Mill or Lathe)
• Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
• Experience programming at the control and/or via CAM software
• Solid understanding of tooling, offsets, and machine setup processes
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Pay: $ $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week

Work Location: In person
