Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of construction and repair skills, with experience across various trades including framing, trim carpentry, drywall, painting, and restoration. This role involves performing construction, remodeling, and repair projects on residential and commercial properties, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and safety standards.

Duties:

Framing, cabinetry, doors, siding, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.

• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects
• Drywall installation, repair, spackling, sanding, and painting
• Conduct roofing repairs and installations including metal stud framing and water damage restoration
• Flooring Installation, LVP, carpet, engineered hardwood etc.
• Execute restoration projects including mold remediation and water damage repair
• Perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently on construction sites
• Utilize fabrication techniques for custom projects such as cabinetry or shelving
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to safety protocols at all times

Skills

• Extensive experience with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and fabrication equipment
• Strong knowledge of construction, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation
• Proficiency in various carpentry disciplines including trim carpentry, framing, cabinetry installation, door hanging, siding installation, and metal stud framing
• Experience in water restoration would be plus
• Knowledge of the restoration industry standards including mold remediation and structural repairs would be great as well
• Skilled in drywall finishing, plastering, stucco application, caulking, flooring installation (tile or wood), and paint prep a plus.
• Capable of heavy lifting and working at heights safely on construction sites
• Professional appearance and conduct at all times. Always drug, alcohol, and smoke free job sites.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate with customers and relay relevant information to and from management and ownership
• Excellent craftsmanship in woodworking and fixture installation with attention to detail
