What We're Looking For

As an employee of The Breeze, your role is to act as a guide for each guest, ensuring they receive attentive service and dedication while assisting them with hotel room check-in, restaurant seating, reservations, payment processing, location details, or food and beverage inquiries.

The role of a Host/Guest Service Attendant is vital to The Breeze, as they create first impressions and lasting connections, enhance guest satisfaction, and foster personal connections that build loyalty. They serve as the first point of contact for any issues or special requests, responding quickly and efficiently to accommodate guests' needs in order to ensure a seamless, worry-free visit. The Host/Guest Service Attendant also collects valuable feedback for continuous improvement and upholds safety protocols, creating a secure, welcoming environment at all times.

  • Passionate for Guest Experience: committed to delivering high-quality service with attention to detail to ensure details of each visit are as expected for the duration of the guest's stay
  • Knowledgeable: Provides clarity to guests about accommodations, local area, entertainment, or events; as well as responding to food and beverage inquiries with the ability to make intuitive suggestions based on guest preferences
  • Entrepreneurial: Demonstrating personal initiative, unwavering determination, and proactive measures to achieve the highest level of guest satisfaction
  • Organized: Can effectively move between tasks and prioritize appropriately between execution, operational tasks, and cleanliness

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a restaurant or hotel environment
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to carry and lift items weighing 40lbs, must be able to stoop and bend
  • Must be able to stand and move for extended periods of time to continuously perform essential job functions
  • Qualified applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada and, where applicable, possess a valid work or study permit that allows the candidate to fulfill the requirements of the role

Job Type: Part-time, Full-time, Seasonal or Permanent

Additional pay: Gratuities

Flexible language requirement: French not required

Schedule: Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
