Solar Installer Electrician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Solar Installer Lead / Solar Electrician to join our dedicated and growing team for residential solar installations in the MD-DC-VA region. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a daily team for the installing, wiring, and maintenance of solar (PV) systems. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality solar installations and electrical service work that maximizes system performance, properly passes AHJ city/county inspections and excels at customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Install solar photovoltaic (PV) panels, inverters, wiring, and electrical components according to project specifications and safety standards
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to ensure precise installation procedures
• Connect high voltage and low voltage electrical systems in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) regulations
• Verify the Bill of Materials matches the inventory required for each scheduled install.
• Proper experience and safety knowledge to use hand tools, power tools, and roofing equipment to securely mount solar panels on various surfaces including rooftops and ground mounts
• Perform fixture installation, conduit routing, grounding, and wiring of electrical systems for optimal system functionality
• Conduct quality inspections of installed systems to verify proper connections and adherence to blueprint designs
• Collaborate with other vendors/construction teams of on-site logistics for our customers' home improvement projects, such as roofing, plumbing, tree removal, etc.
• Previous experience handling equipment such as forklifts or other machinery a plus, but not required.

Pay: $ $35.00 per hour
