Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Clinical Social Worker / Therapist, where your expertise will make a profound difference in the lives of individuals across mental health and SUD settings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver compassionate, evidence-based mental health and behavioral services, including psychotherapy and crisis intervention. You will work closely with clients age 18 and older, providing specialized care for those with mental illness and addiction issues. Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing clinical research methods and medical terminology to inform treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions incorporating modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and counseling.
  • Implement crisis intervention strategies and manage urgent cases involving mental health emergencies or behavioral crises with professionalism and sensitivity.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans that include social work interventions, case management, and coordination of home or community-based services.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and CPT coding standards such as ICD-10/ICD-9/ICD and DMS coding for diagnoses.
  • Engage in data collection and research activities to support clinical quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practices.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), Counseling, Psychology or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Valid licensure or certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent in the relevant state.
  • Proven experience working with individuals with PTSD care, mental health and addiction counseling
  • Strong knowledge of psychotherapeutic techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, motivational interviewing, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
  • Experience utilizing EHR systems for documentation and data collection; familiarity with medical records management is essential.
  • Ability to perform intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, patient care planning, and crisis management effectively.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology to ensure confidentiality and accurate recordkeeping.
