General Laborer

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Laborer - Installer to join our construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting technology installation projects across various construction sites includeing: K-12 Education, Commercial, Industrial, and House of Worship venues. All work is to be completed efficiently, safely, and up to our high standards. You will work closely with skilled tradespeople and project managers to assist with a wide range of construction tasks in the low voltage field. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Assist with the installation components such as: cabling, terminations, TVs/Projectors, Speakers, sound and video systems and infrastructure
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to support accurate installation processes
• Operate heavy equipment and scaffolding safely to facilitate construction activities on-site (skill preferred, or ability to learn)
• Compliance with safety standards
• Prepare construction sites by setting up lifts, scaffolding, or temporary structures for installation needs
• Support demolition and remodeling tasks as needed to meet project timelines
• Use specialized tools for tasks such as power tools, punch downs, testers, ect.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working on construction sites or in related trades is a plus
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, and power tools
• Ability to read floor plans and construction drawings accurately
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights or in confined spaces safely

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
