Assistant Floor Manager

Job Summary
The Floor Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment, overseeing daily activities and maintaining high standards of service in a fast-paced environment. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in food service, particularly within casual dining and bar settings. The Floor Manager will lead by example, fostering a positive atmosphere for both staff and guests while ensuring that all operational procedures are followed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily floor operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences through attentive service.
• Assist in managing staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations to enhance team efficiency.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation and presentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with budgeting to maintain cost-effective operations.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Enforce health and safety regulations within the dining area and kitchen.
• Support the Assistant Manager in implementing promotional events and special menus.

Skills

• Proven experience as an Assistant Manager or similar role in the food service industry.
• Strong knowledge of casual dining operations, including bar management.
• Excellent budgeting skills to manage costs effectively while maximizing profitability.
• Exceptional hospitality skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Ability to train and mentor staff effectively in culinary practices and customer service standards.
• Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills to motivate team members.
