Duties

• Prepare and cook steaks and other menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
• Assist in menu planning to incorporate seasonal ingredients and innovative culinary techniques
• Maintain high standards of food handling, safety, and sanitation in accordance with health regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service during busy hours
• Execute food presentation that is visually appealing and aligned with restaurant standards
• Support catering orders and special event preparations to provide exceptional dining experiences
• Keep work stations clean, organized, and stocked with necessary ingredients and tools for efficient operation

Experience

• Proven culinary experience in a fine dining or steakhouse setting, demonstrating mastery of cooking techniques and food presentation
• Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods including grilling, searing, roasting, and broiling
• Background in food industry roles such as dietary aide or dietary department experience is a plus
• Experience in menu planning, food preparation, and meal assembly for large or small groups
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Previous restaurant experience emphasizing teamwork, customer service, and high-volume kitchen operations
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
