Nursery Deputy Manager

Location: Furlong Road, Bourne End, SL8 5AE

Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience)

Hours: 40 hours per week

Qualification: Level 3 Childcare Qualification is essential

We are on the lookout for a passionate and enthusiastic Deputy Manager to join our friendly team. If you have a Level 3 Childcare qualification and are ready to work full-time (40 hours per week) with flexible shifts between 7:30 am and 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday, we want to hear from you!

• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor.
• Understand and implement the statutory framework for the EYFS throughout the nursery.
• Assist in managing medication administration and ensure care plans are up-to-date.
• Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to each child's development.
• Communicate effectively to promote respect and credibility in your role.
• Inspire the staff team with creative ideas and challenges to achieve outstanding practice.
• Maintain accurate records on the EyMan system and ensure smooth nursery operations.
• Undertake additional duties to ensure the nursery runs smoothly and safely.

• Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification - Essential
• Leadership experience - Essential
• Over 1 year of experience in Early Years - Essential
• Sound knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework - Essential
• Over 1 year of management experience - Desirable
• Level 5 qualification in Childcare and/or Management - Desirable
• Experience with successful Ofsted inspections - Desirable
