Are you bilingual English/Spanish? Do you possess a Texas Producer Property and Casualty Insurance License? If so, Kemper is looking to increase their presence of our Sales Team in McAllen. If you dont have one, we would be glad to train you!/ph3Position Responsibilities/h3ulliProspects insurance leads from internal and external sources./liliEngages customer via inbound and outbound telephone calls to assess insurance needs and rating variables./liliCompletes sale of policy by collecting down payment and uploading policy./liliPerforms cross selling on other services offered by the company and/or strategic partners (property insurance, commercial insurance, financial products, etc.)/liliMaintains records on customers including information about the consumer, source of lead, response to quote/offer application and policy according to procedures established by management./liliForwards calls from customers that are not related to new quotes to appropriate personnel (questions about policy, changes, cancellations, etc.)./liliCompletes all required training in a timely manner including detailed knowledge of Infinity products, coverages and rating factors for all assigned states./liliMust obtain and/or maintain Property and Casualty license to sell and service insurance, including non-resident license within 90 days of employment as needed based on position./liliMust pass licensing exam within two attempts./liliInteracts with prospective customers in a professional manner to provide them with an insurance quote and if purchased, converts the lead to an actual policy./liliAssists customer with other services as appropriate./li/ulh3Position Qualifications/h3ulli6 months of prior experience in sales required./liliInsurance sales experience preferred./liliA valid insurance license for assigned State(s) is preferred. If not already licensed, must obtain license within specified period of time in order to remain employed./liliMust be proficient in Spanish and English./liliAbove average communication skills in order to represent the company in a professional manner and communicate effectively with potential customers./liliPrevious experience with Excel, Word and web-based systems preferred./liliExperience with and the ability to use a PC to perform daily duties required./liliMust be detail oriented and accurate and have the ability to work independently following strict procedural guidelines./liliWork schedule may fluctuate based on business need and will include evening and weekend hours./li/ulpKemper is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
