Lead the technical aspects of application onboarding, focusing on the design, development, and implementation of authentication and authorization protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
Onboarding Strategy:
Strategize and execute a thorough onboarding plan that aligns with the goals of Cyber Security and IAM teams to ensure secure application integration.
Collaboration:
Partner with application owners, developers, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, ensuring that onboarding processes fulfill both security and business needs.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement strategies to enhance the onboarding process's efficiency and effectiveness, including automation and best practices.
Security Compliance:
Ensure all onboarded applications comply with internal and external security standards, conducting risk assessments and implementing necessary controls.
Innovation:
Stay updated on the latest trends in Cyber Security and IAM, integrating innovative solutions to enhance the onboarding process.
Mentorship:
Provide mentorship to junior engineers and team members, fostering a culture of learning and development.
Documentation:
Maintain detailed documentation of onboarding processes, security protocols, and custom integrations to ensure knowledge accessibility and transferability.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications): Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
At least 5 years of experience in Cyber Security, particularly in Identity and Access Management (IAM).
Evident experience leading application integration into IAM systems within a complex enterprise environment.
Strong hands-on experience with authentication and authorization protocols like SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect.
Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to improve process efficiency.
Excellent understanding of security protocols, encryption, and access control mechanisms.
Proficient in IAM platforms and tools such as Entra ID, GCP, AWS, or similar.
Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive mindset in identifying and addressing challenges.
Leadership ability to mentor junior engineers and team members.
Strategic thinker with keen attention to detail and capability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications): Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or similar security credentials.
Experience in a lead engineering capacity within a Cyber Security or IAM organization.
Background in project management, especially in leading cross-functional technical initiatives.
This position is hybrid, requiring the selected candidate to report to a specific location at least three times a week. Relocation benefits may be available.
