Floater (Janitorial Services)

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and dependable Floater (Janitorial Services) to join our dynamic facilities team. In this versatile role, you will provide essential cleaning and custodial support across multiple locations, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. As a Floater, you will adapt quickly to various assignments, perform a wide range of janitorial duties, and assist with facility upkeep to uphold our high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of office spaces, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment.
• Assist with floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to maintain pristine flooring conditions.
• Support custodial operations by restocking supplies, disposing of waste properly, and maintaining cleaning carts and equipment.
• Provide industrial cleaning support for specialized areas requiring deep cleaning or hazardous material handling when necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all assigned areas meet cleanliness standards while adhering to safety protocols.
• Flexibly cover multiple locations or shifts as needed to ensure continuous facility operations.

Requirements

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial settings.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, floor care techniques, buffing, and industrial cleaning methods.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Pay: $ $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week
