Cashier/Customer Service

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier/Customer Service Associate to join our team This role involves providing exceptional customer service, managing transactions accurately, and ensuring a positive experience for all customers. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, basic math proficiency, and experience in retail sales. Familiarity with POS systems and merchandising is plus but not required. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your retail skills in a fast-paced environment, particularly within grocery store settings.

Responsibilities

• Operate POS systems efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly
• Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision and attention to detail
• Provide product demos and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales
• Maintain proper merchandising standards, including stocking shelves and organizing displays
• Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
• Ensure excellent phone etiquette when communicating with customers over the phone
• Support in-store promotional activities and product demonstrations
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience

Experience

• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling
• Strong communication skills and ability to orient first-time customers on our simulator systems
• Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering preferred
• Golf/Baseball/Softball experience is a plus but not required
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining professionalism and courtesy at all times

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
