Line Cook/Saute

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our dishes and contributing to the overall success of our restaurant.

Duties

• Assist in the preparation of menu items, including food handling and food preparation.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to prepare and present dishes to the highest standard.
• Utilize a variety of cooking techniques, including knife skills, to prepare ingredients.
• Ensure that all food products are stored, handled, and cooked according to established food safety protocols.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude, providing excellent customer service when interacting with guests.
• Work in a team environment, supporting the needs of other kitchen staff and contributing to the overall success of the restaurant.

Qualifications

• Experience working in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant setting.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and cooking techniques.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks at once.
• Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects, standing for extended periods of time.
• Ability to follow recipes and cooking instructions accurately.
• Experience with knife skills and food preparation techniques.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
