As the
Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM)
for
Perioperative Services
, you'll provide both
clinical and administrative leadership
at the unit level—supporting your team through mentorship, performance management, scheduling, and ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality surgical care.
This state-of-the-art facility features
nine operating rooms
and provides comprehensive coverage for
all orthopedic cases
, from routine procedures to complex surgeries. The ANM will play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency, fostering collaboration among surgical teams, and supporting Novant Health's commitment to remarkable patient outcomes.
Preferred Skillsets:
- Background in
perioperative services - Proven
leadership experience
in a high-volume OR - OR experience highly preferred
- Leadership experience highly preferred
- Familiarity with
EMR systems (preferably Epic) - Excellent
communication
and
team-building
abilities
This is an exciting opportunity to lead within a highly specialized orthopedic hospital, empowering a skilled surgical team and driving excellence in patient-centered care.
What We're Looking For:
- Education:
4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. BSN, preferred. Graduate Degree, preferred.
- Experience:
Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience, preferred. Prior demonstrated nursing leadership, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification:
Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required. Unit/Dept Specific Required Certifications.
- Additional Skills (required):
Successful completion of generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to successfully complete Leader Education & Training.
