Dental Lab Technician

Join Quality Crown & Bridge Studio, Inc. - a full-service dental laboratory located in Allouez, Wisconsin. We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need.

Hourly rate of pay is negotiable and will be dependent on experience and skill proficiency.

The regular hours for this position are from 7:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time. You will get two minute paid breaks as well as a 30-minute unpaid lunch.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

· Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist.

· Finish dentures based on priority.

· Grind on dental prosthesis using multiple machines.

· Willingness to learn and receive critical feedback to improve.

· Final polish using pumice and high shine materials.

· Bag dentures and put number of case on the bag before replacing in the correct pan if not completely finished.

· A desire to be the best at your job.

· Maintain a clean work area.

Skills and Abilities Required:

· Time management skills.

• A sense of urgency is critical when it presents itself.

· Multi-tasking is a must.

· Excellent hand-eye coordination.

· Strong ability to read, listen, comprehend, retain, and execute on written and verbal instructions.

· High level of organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work.

· Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

· Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent.

· No experience required.

· This can be an ENTRY LEVEL position.

Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:

· Hand piece/small machinery.

· Flames, high-temperature wax and boiling water.

· Additional related materials or equipment, as required.

· Personal protective equipment, as required.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

· Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, kneel and/or reach.

· Fine motor skills and ability to perform repetitive motions.

· Vision capabilities, including depth perception, attention to detail, and color.
