PROJECT MANAGER water tower restoration

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee water tower restoration projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all phases of construction, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, coordination skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction management processes, particularly related to water infrastructure. The Project Manager will coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality results while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage water tower restoration projects from initiation through completion, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or other construction management software to ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare detailed construction estimates utilizing HeavyBid and other estimating tools.
• Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure project scope aligns with client requirements and industry standards.
• Coordinate with civil engineers and design teams using Civil 3D and Bluebeam for accurate project documentation.
• Monitor project progress, manage resources efficiently, and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.
• Oversee subcontractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
• Conduct site visits to assess progress, resolve issues promptly, and ensure adherence to project specifications.
• Manage project documentation, including change orders, RFIs, and progress reports.
• Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

Skills

• Proficiency in construction management software such as Primavera P6, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and other project scheduling tools.
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating, contracts management, and blueprint reading.
• Experience in water infrastructure projects or similar heavy civil construction projects.
• Excellent project coordination and leadership abilities with a focus on time management.
• Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately.
• Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Prior experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards.
