Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the kitchen by assisting with cooking, frying, food preparation and other duties as assigned. This position requires a passion for food, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Prepare and chop ingredients according to recipes and specifications.
• Assist in the cooking, preparing sauces, soups, and other components as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of food items.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe cooking environment.
• Collaborate with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation.
• Assist with catering events as required, ensuring that all food is prepared to high standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and other culinary tools.

Skills

• Experience in catering or food service is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
• Familiarity with dietary needs and meal preparation for various dietary restrictions is a plus.
• Excellent knife skills and proficiency in using various kitchen equipment.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
• A passion for the food industry and commitment to delivering high-quality meals.
