Are you a skilled Forklift Operator seeking a challenging opportunity in Colorado Springs, Colorado? Our leading logistics company is looking for experienced individuals to operate forklifts and manage materials within our expansive warehouse. This role is central to our efficient operations, ensuring materials are moved safely, accurately, and on time. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including loading, unloading, stacking, and retrieving inventory. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any issues immediately.
- Ensure accurate placement of inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and Logistics best practices.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Moderate Lifting of inventory may be required when not operating forklift.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1-2 years of proven Forklift Operator experience. Valid forklift certification required. Strong knowledge of warehouse safety regulations. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment. Experience with inventory management systems is a plus. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team setting. Understanding of Material Handling equipment and logistics principles is crucial.
