We are hiring a dedicated Distribution Center Associate in Colorado Springs, Colorado! This role is essential to the smooth operation of our warehouse, ensuring efficient processing and distribution of goods. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping. Your contribution is key to our logistics success, guaranteeing that products reach their intended destinations accurately and on time. We prioritize safety above all else; therefore, strict adherence to all safety protocols and the consistent use of required PPE are mandatory. This position requires physical stamina, including the ability to stand for extended periods, walk extensively, and handle lifting of up to 55 pounds regularly. Full training will be provided on all operational procedures and equipment, but previous warehouse experience is advantageous. You will have the opportunity to learn and operate various warehouse machinery and systems. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments.
- Verify inventory accuracy and report any discrepancies.
- Stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely (certification and training provided).
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Properly use all required PPE.
- Participate in inventory control and cycle counting processes.
- Meet productivity targets and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including lifting up to 55 lbs and standing for long shifts.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations and safety procedures.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and using PPE correctly.
