The job involves significant physical activity, including frequent lifting, standing, and walking. You will operate various material handling equipment and contribute to maintaining a clean and organized facility. Key Responsibilities:
- Unloading incoming freight and verifying quantities and condition.
- Storing products in designated locations using warehouse management systems.
- Accurately picking items for customer orders.
- Packing orders with care to prevent damage during transit.
- Preparing shipments for dispatch and coordinating with carriers.
- Conducting inventory checks and participating in stocktakes.
- Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse, adhering to 5S principles.
- Following all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting techniques.
- Collaborating with colleagues to meet productivity targets.
