We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role is crucial for the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse facility. You will be responsible for operating forklifts safely and effectively to load, unload, transport, and stack materials. This includes receiving incoming shipments, staging outgoing orders, and moving inventory throughout the warehouse. A strong commitment to safety protocols and proper handling of materials is paramount. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of operating various types of forklifts in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail is essential to ensure accurate inventory management and to prevent damage to products and equipment. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, electric) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Stack and organize inventory accurately.
- Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance on forklift equipment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
