Duties

• Prepare and cook grilled items with precision, ensuring consistent quality and presentation
• Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients for various menu items
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and prep areas in compliance with food safety standards
• Follow recipes accurately and contribute to menu planning by suggesting improvements or new ideas
• Handle food products safely, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices
• Support the kitchen team during busy periods by efficiently managing meal preparation and service tasks
• Ensure all food handling procedures meet health regulations and company policies for safety and hygiene

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting, particularly in grill or prep stations
• Knowledge of dietary department practices and dietary aide experience is a plus
• Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques are highly desirable
• Experience with menu planning, catering, or large-scale food service is 8advantageous
• Demonstrated understanding of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
• Kitchen experience involving meal preparation, food service, and food industry standards is essential
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks
