Come and join our People Team as a Payroll & HR Systems Administrator. This is a great opportunity designed to provide foundational experience across HR Systems and Payroll administration. You will receive full training and guidance to develop your skills, with potential future opportunities to pursue a career in Payroll or Systems. The Role
As a Payroll & HR Systems Administrator, you will provide reliable administrative support to ensure our data is accurate and compliant. You will be the backbone of our People Systems, assisting with everything from payroll processing to system maintenance and reporting. You’ll work closely with the Payroll Manager and the HR Systems & People Insights Manager to ensure our colleagues are paid accurately and our systems run smoothly. Key Responsibilities
Assist with the accurate and timely processing of weekly and monthly payroll runs and expenses. Perform regular data entry, cleansing, and integrity checks within our HR / Payroll systems (iTrent). Act as second‑line support for payroll queries and basic system issues, helping our colleagues find solutions. Support system upgrades by assisting with user acceptance testing (UAT) and legislative updates. Generate standard reports to help the People Team review metrics like turnover and absence. Ensure all daily processing activities remain compliant with GDPR and data management regulations. This is a hybrid opportunity, with a requirement of at least 2 office days based at our Head office in Crick. You
You are a proactive individual who is keen to learn and thrives in a team environment. You pride yourself on your accuracy and your ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion. Skills and competencies
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a data entry or administrative role (ideally within HR or Payroll). Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills. Clear verbal and written communication skills. Basic understanding of payroll processing (Pensions, NI) and GDPR is preferred. Ideally holding or working towards a CIPP qualification (desired but not essential). Previous roles & products you may have worked with
