Automotive Service Advisor

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, guiding them through their vehicle service needs while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Your expertise in automotive repair and strong customer service skills will be essential in providing accurate information and recommendations to our clients. Social media skills would be considered an asset. Subaru experience is also a major asset.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assess their automotive service needs.
• Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs required for vehicles.
• Upsell additional services or products based on customer needs and vehicle condition.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service history, and transactions.
• Collaborate with mechanics and technicians to ensure timely completion of services.
• Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently.
• Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Stay updated on automotive technology and industry trends to provide informed recommendations.

Experience

• Previous experience in an automotive repair environment is preferred.
• Strong background in customer service with a focus on building relationships.
• Mechanical knowledge is essential to effectively communicate with both customers and technicians.
• Experience with cash handling and sales processes is beneficial.
• Familiarity with dealership operations is a plus, particularly in understanding service workflows.
