Position Overview:
AcceleratedPM is seeking a highly experienced Scheduler / EVMS Project Controls Specialist to support the development/construction of a large-scale manufacturing plant near Atlanta, GA. This role will play a critical part in developing, integrating, and maintaining a cost-loaded Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in Primavera P6, supporting Earned Value Management System (EVMS) implementation, and coordinating with CMAR contractors, manufacturing engineering teams, and Project Controls leadership.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Primavera P6, EVMS metrics, Deltek Cobra, and large capital construction/manufacturing programs, with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, owner-side environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and manage cost-loaded Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) in Oracle Primavera P6, utilizing integrator and contractor provided schedules
- Coordinate with Project Controls, CMAR contractors, and Manufacturing Engineering teams to establish planned values, maintain vertical and horizontal traceability, and align scope, schedule, and cost data across all workstreams and Shops.
- Implement and support Earned Value Management System (EVMS) calculations and reporting, including: SPI, CPI, ACWP, BCWS, BCWP and schedule and cost variance analysis
- Perform bi-weekly EVMS status updates and monthly performance reporting in alignment with internal requirements
- Review and validate CMAR EVMS and schedule data on a recurring basis and provide actionable feedback
- Integrate CMAR schedule and EVMS data into Primavera P6 and internal reporting platforms (e.g., Databricks or similar systems)
- Support Deltek Cobra implementation and integration for EVMS reporting when required
- Develop and maintain schedule narratives explaining key drivers, risks, and variances
- Support Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA) for cost and schedule at key project milestones
- Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to establish standardized reporting templates and cadence
- Ensure schedules comply with industry best practices and project controls standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (can be substituted with additional experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on Primavera P6 scheduling experience (10+ years preferred)
- 5+ years of Project Controls / Scheduling experience on large capital or industrial programs
- Federal Scheduling experience
- Demonstrated experience supporting or implementing EVMS on complex projects
- Experience integrating contractor schedules and cost data into an owner-level IMS
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex schedule and EV data clearly to both technical and executive audiences
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Deltek Cobra for EVMS implementation and reporting
- Experience supporting manufacturing facilities, industrial construction, or automotive programs
- Experience working with CMAR contractors and multi-discipline engineering teams
- Familiarity with Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) for cost and schedule
- Ability to operate in a fast-moving owner/client environment with evolving requirements
- Project Controls certifications (PSP, PMI-SP, PMP) a plus
