Floater Teacher Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant Floater to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and supporting their learning experiences in a nurturing environment. This role is essential in assisting teachers, cleaning and food preparation. Experience in private school or daycare settings is highly valued.

Duties

• Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities.
• Support students in their learning, particularly in subjects such as Math and Special Education.
• Foster a positive and engaging learning environment for all children.
• Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe, organized space.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and needs.
• Participate in the planning and execution of educational programs and activities.
• Provide support to children with special needs or those requiring additional assistance.
• Maintain records of student progress and assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children in a daycare, private school, or similar setting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
• Ability to plan engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students succeed academically and socially.
• Experience in special education is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
