We are hiring an experienced Reach Truck Operator for our warehouse in Boise, Idaho. As a Reach Truck Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently maneuvering the reach truck to move, stack, and retrieve inventory at various heights. This role requires precision, a keen eye for detail, and a strong commitment to safety protocols. You will be operating specialized equipment within a fast-paced logistics environment, contributing to accurate inventory management and timely order fulfillment. Proper operation of the reach truck, adherence to all safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE and understanding of safe lifting principles, is paramount. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a reach truck to move, stack, and retrieve palletized goods in high-bay racking.
- Perform daily inspections and maintenance checks on the reach truck.
- Accurately pick and stage products for outbound shipments.
- Assist with putaway of incoming inventory into designated rack locations.
- Maintain organized and efficient warehouse storage.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stocktaking activities.
- Report any operational issues or safety concerns to supervision immediately.
- Contribute to the overall productivity and efficiency of the logistics team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating a reach truck.
- Valid forklift or reach truck certification.
- Ability to work safely at elevated heights.
- Experience with RF scanning devices.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and procedures.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 40 lbs occasionally.
- Strong spatial awareness and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
