Duties

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address clients' specific needs
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and ensure safety
• Educate clients on pain management strategies, physiology, and anatomy to support their wellness journey
• Maintain detailed records of treatments, patient progress, and medical terminology relevant to each session
• Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing client concerns with professionalism
• Adhere to occupational health standards and safety protocols to ensure a clean, safe treatment environment
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to optimize patient outcomes

Requirements

• Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification in good standing
• Proven experience in patient service, medical terminology, and anatomy knowledge
• Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques
• Strong understanding of physiology and occupational health practices relevant to massage therapy
• Prior experience working in med spas or similar wellness environments is preferred
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and provide clear guidance
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining licensure requirements
