Loss Prevention Officer

Headquartered in Carrollton, Texas we manufacture quality products used in America's critical infrastructure industries including but not limited to class 8 trucks, electric vehicles, truck trailers, utility scale solar power, electrical transmission, and numerous commercial construction products.

About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Loss Prevention Officer to join our security team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in protecting company assets, preventing theft, and ensuring a safe environment for both employees and customers. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to handle conflict effectively, and a commitment to upholding safety standards.

One opening are available: one for the Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Your Responsibilities:

• Monitor surveillance equipment and conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to incidents of theft or other security breaches, and accurately document all findings.
• Conduct thorough investigations into loss incidents, gather evidence, and prepare detailed reports.
• Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary, and provide testimony in legal proceedings as required.
• Implement loss prevention strategies and policies to minimize risks and enhance security measures.
• Train staff on loss prevention techniques and promote awareness of security protocols throughout the organization.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information related to investigations and security operations.

What You Will Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in loss prevention or security are preferred.
• Previous experience in law enforcement or security roles is highly desirable.
• Proficient in the use of surveillance systems, including CCTV technology.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
• Knowledge of criminal investigation procedures and professional report writing.
• Excellent observational skills with a keen eye for identifying potential threats or irregularities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating strong communication skills.

Work Environment: Responsibilities are carried out in both indoor settings and in the plant, an unregulated environment that experiences extreme temperatures and high levels of noise, including but not limited to other uncontrollable factors.
