Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inventory Control Specialist for our Las Vegas, Nevada location. This pivotal role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and optimal flow of our inventory. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring inventory control systems and procedures to minimize discrepancies and maximize efficiency. A strong analytical background, excellent problem-solving capabilities, and a deep understanding of Logistics operations are essential. This position demands a proactive approach to identifying and resolving inventory challenges. You will play a key role in optimizing our supply chain and ensuring operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Lead inventory control initiatives, including cycle counting, reconciliation, and variance analysis.
- Develop and refine inventory management strategies to improve accuracy and reduce shrinkage.
- Oversee the use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and movements.
- Investigate and resolve complex inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Establish and maintain robust inventory control procedures and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Purchasing, Shipping) to ensure seamless inventory processes.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory processes and recommend improvements.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and organization of all inventory items to maintain quality and prevent damage.
- Promote a strong Safety culture, ensuring compliance with all regulations and proper use of PPE.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff on inventory control best practices.
This role requires a strategic thinker with advanced analytical skills and proficiency in WMS. Occasional physical tasks may involve lifting up to 30 pounds. Previous experience in inventory management within a Logistics or distribution environment is highly desirable.
