We're Hiring: Mobile Child, Adolescent, & Family Therapist (Metro Atlanta Area)

Are you a passionate and experienced therapist who thrives in non-traditional settings? The Traveling Therapist Co. is expanding across Metro Atlanta and looking for dedicated, licensed clinicians to join our growing team of professionals who deliver high-quality, intensive, in-home and community-based therapy to children, adolescents, and families.

This is NOT a telehealth-only role. Our therapists travel to clients' homes, schools, and community settings (libraries, parks, etc.) to provide therapy where it's most impactful. While virtual sessions are available, the core of our model is in-person, mobile care. Candidates must be comfortable driving to sessions throughout the Atlanta metro area.

Position Details:

  • Job Type
    : 1099 Contract
  • Pay Range
    : $50,000 – $100,000 annually (based on caseload)
  • Weekly Hours
    : Minimum of 10 clients/week (private pay), with opportunities to expand
  • Flexible Scheduling
    : Set your own hours, with preference for afternoon, evening, and weekend availability

Who We're Looking For:

  • Licensed Therapists
     in Georgia: LMSW, LAPC, LAMFT, LCSW, LPC, LMFT
  • Minimum 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience
     providing therapy to 
    children, adolescents, and families
  • Strong clinical skills
     in trauma, depression, anxiety, and family systems
  • Comfortable with travel
    : 90%+ of sessions are in-home or in community settings
  • Private practice or community mental health experience
     highly preferred
  • Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-person therapy sessions in client homes and community locations
  • Maintain clear, timely documentation including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
  • Collaborate with caregivers, schools, and other providers to support client success
  • Attend monthly team meetings for connection, consultation, and support

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in a mental health-related field
     (Required)
  • Active Georgia license
    : LMSW, LAPC, LAMFT, LCSW, LPC, or LMFT (Required)
  • Minimum 2 years
     of therapy experience working directly with children, teens, and families (Required)
  • Professional liability insurance
  • Reliable transportation
  • Willingness to travel
     extensively throughout the Atlanta metro area (90% travel required)
  • Strong documentation and treatment planning skills
