*Overview*
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Technical Project Manager with expertise in Power BI and Tableau to lead complex data visualization initiatives and enterprise software projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive innovative solutions, streamline project execution, and deliver impactful insights across organizational functions. As a key member of our project management team, you will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project lifecycles, and ensure the successful implementation of data-driven tools that empower decision-making and operational excellence.
*Duties*
* Lead end-to-end project management for enterprise software deployments, focusing on Power BI and Tableau dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather detailed requirements, define project scope, and establish clear objectives aligned with business needs.
* Develop comprehensive project plans utilizing Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar tools, including timelines, resource allocation, risk mitigation strategies, and deliverables.
* Coordinate Agile (including SAFe and Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies to optimize project workflows and ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
* Oversee the integration of cloud computing platforms such as AWS to enhance data infrastructure and support scalable analytics solutions.
* Manage project schedules, track progress using TFS or VersionOne, and facilitate communication across teams to maintain momentum.
* Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), develop test cases, and ensure smooth project implementation while adhering to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) standards.
* Lead release management activities, disaster recovery planning, and IT governance compliance to safeguard data integrity and system stability.
* Foster strong relationships with stakeholders through effective negotiation, clear communication skills, and organizational leadership.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience managing enterprise software projects with a focus on Power BI and Tableau visualization tools.
* Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components including SQL databases (SQL Server), Oracle databases, and cloud computing environments like AWS.
* Familiarity with project management methodologies such as PMBOK, Agile (SAFe), Waterfall, and tools like Jira, TFS, VersionOne, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Visio, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
* Knowledge of SDLC processes including requirements gathering, analysis skills, test-driven development (TDD), user acceptance testing (UAT), and release management.
* Excellent leadership abilities with experience in program management, team coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
* Demonstrated skills in project scheduling, time management, risk assessment, negotiation, and disaster recovery planning.
* Ability to analyze complex data sets using SQL or other database tools; experience with enterprise software development is a plus.
* Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across technical teams and business units; organizational skills are essential for managing multiple projects simultaneously. Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $70.00 - $71.00 per hour
