We are hiring Picker/Packers to join our busy distribution center in Salt Lake City, Utah! This role is fundamental to our logistics network, ensuring that products are correctly identified and prepared for shipment. You will be instrumental in maintaining the flow of goods through our facility and contributing to customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently pick items from warehouse shelves based on order slips.
- Accurately pack items into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product protection.
- Perform quality inspections on picked and packed items.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
- Operate hand-held scanners and other warehouse technology.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Meet performance targets for picking and packing speed and accuracy.
- Contribute to team efforts and overall warehouse efficiency.
Qualifications:
Must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and standing for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly is required. A strong focus on safety and adherence to all logistics protocols is essential. Previous experience as a picker or packer is preferred. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment are crucial. We value individuals who are reliable, proactive, and committed to maintaining a high standard of work. Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE is a must.
