Description Skyworks Solutions is seeking a talented intern to develop new high-frequency BAW filter modules.
The selected individual will join the BAW design team, focusing on the design, development, and delivery of next-generation BAW filter designs for Skyworks’ WiFi, Automotive, Infrastructure, and IoT customers.
The successful candidate will utilize simulations, feasibility & topology studies, and technology assessments to deliver compelling products and help drive advanced technology development.
We are seeking a student to work onsite in our Andover, MA design center from June/July - December 2026.
Term: Summer/Fall Co-Op (June - Dec '26)
Responsibilities
Mason level circuit feasibility simulations, topology studies, and evaluation of stack parameters and their trade-offs.
Compiling complex results and sharing them with the team in a clean, concise, well‑organized format or design review.
Tap‑out of new filter designs.
EM simulations as necessary.
Required Experience and Skills
University student, currently enrolled in an MSEE/PhD program in the field of acoustics (BAW preferred, but similar acoustic fields will be considered).
Must be able and available to work starting June/July 2026.
Periodic online meetings with our international team are a requirement.
Desired Experience and Skills
Strong understanding of BAW device physics is a plus.
Good understanding of ladder filter topology and design techniques is also a plus.
The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non‑Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour.
Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
