We are hiring a dynamic Fulfillment Associate for our busy facility in Kansas City, Missouri. This role is key to our customer satisfaction, responsible for accurately and efficiently processing customer orders from start to finish. Your duties will include picking items, checking for quality, packing them securely, and preparing them for shipment. We are looking for proactive individuals with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. A background in warehouse logistics is beneficial. The role requires physical activity, including regular lifting. All essential PPE will be provided to ensure your safety. Responsibilities:
- Pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets, ensuring accuracy.
- Inspect products for defects or damage before packing.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure product safety during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and ensure all order information is correct.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the fulfillment area.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away as needed.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Report any safety concerns or equipment issues to management.
- Contribute to team efforts and support colleagues in achieving daily logistics goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a fulfillment, warehouse, or logistics role is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Awareness of safety protocols and correct use of PPE.
