Description

Under the supervision of the Radiology Director, (or Director of Invasive and Non-Invasive Cardiac Services) the diagnostic supervisor assists in the planning, directing, and coordinating the activities of the imaging services for Covenant Health System for one or more of the following modalities: Diagnostic Radiology, Nuclear Medicine/Cardiology, CT/MRI, Surgery, Ultrasound, Special/Interventional Procedures (or Mobile Echo/PV). Minimal supervision required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: Must have graduated from an approved school of Radiology (ARRT), Sonography (RDMS) or Nuclear Medicine (NMCTB).
  • Associate's Degree in Health related field.
  • Upon hire: Texas General Medical Radiologic Technologist License.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or
  • Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or
  • Upon hire: National Certification from Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or
  • Upon hire: National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists.
  • 3 years' experience as a technologist.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Health related field.
  • 1 year Supervisory experience.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
