Accounts Receivable Supervisor

The Accounts Receivable Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounts receivable operations, including managing the AR team, monitoring outstanding balances, and ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and collections. This role will collaborate with internal teams and customers to resolve billing discrepancies, improve processes, and support strong cash flow for the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direction and guidance to your team, aligning daily operations with overall organizational goals.
  • Serve as the primary point of escalation for clients, ensuring timely and effective resolution of any issues.
  • Mentor and coach less experienced team members, fostering their professional growth and career development.
  • Implement strategies to retain top talent and build a high-performing team.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and manage individual development plans for team members.
  • Monitor key metrics, identify trends, and proactively address potential operational challenges.
  • Spearhead and oversee the implementation of key organizational initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across departments to foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience managing a team of 10+ direct reports.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Business, or equivalent work experience.
  • The ability to negotiate effectively in complex situations (Preferred).
  • A proven track record as a change leader, fostering continuous improvement within your team (Preferred).
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Preferred).
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines efficiently.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to identify and solve problems effectively.
