To strengthen our motivated Production Team at our Charlotte, NC facility, we are looking for a passionate Operations Manager.
Your Role- You will be responsible for hiring, training, supervising and motivating plant staff, including administering performance reviews and managing employee development.
- You will support our production team by setting production schedules, monitoring progress and implementing strategies to meet and exceed production goals.
- You are ambitious to develop and implement strategies to optimize plant operations, improve efficiency, and achieve organizational goals.
- You will contribute with managing and developing the plant's budget, implementing cost saving initiatives, and ensuring efficient use of resources.
- You are committed to a forward thinking approach to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- You have already gained 5+ years of experience in a packaging or production management role within a manufacturing environment.
- You have strong knowledge and understanding of packaging machinery, processes, and materials (e.g., corrugate, flexibles, rigid plastics).
- You have demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, TPM or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- You have excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
