Senior Pharmacy Sales Executive (Specialty) CenterWell, a Humana‑owned brand, offers Primary Care, Home Health, and Pharmacy services. As a Senior Pharmacy Sales Executive (Specialty), you will leverage geographic analysis and relationships with physician offices to drive specialty drug prescriptions to CenterWell Specialty Pharmacy.
Responsibilities
Build relationships with front‑ and back‑office staff by conducting sales calls within the territory.
Provide staff education and information on options for patient use of specialty pharmacy medications.
Serve as a knowledgeable resource regarding specialty pharmacy medications and Humana pharmacy benefits.
Analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
Exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Required Qualifications
Reside in or be within commuting distance of Northern Illinois, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, or Green Bay, Wisconsin, or be willing to relocate to the area at your own expense.
Previous sales experience with documented success of meeting or exceeding goals.
Experience analyzing sales data and market trends to make effective decisions.
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects.
Demonstrate adaptability and a collaborative, team‑oriented approach in dynamic environments.
Proven ability to establish, cultivate, and maintain strong relationships across partnering business segments.
Comfortable with field work 5 days per week within territory lines and occasional overnight travel.
Must have a valid state driver’s license and be part of Humana’s Fleet Driver safety program.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM tool.
Bachelor’s degree or at least 3 years of experience in sales and marketing.
Specialty pharmacy or healthcare experience.
Additional Information
Workstyle: Field – duties performed at non‑company locations, including partner facilities and members’ homes.
Travel: Up to 50% of the time, 5 days per week within an assigned territory line, with occasional overnight travel. May also travel for off‑site team engagement meetings, including air travel.
Driving Record: Evaluated as part of a third‑party background check; certain infractions may affect eligibility.
Typical Workdays & Hours: Monday – Friday; Central Standard Time (CST).
