Situation: Blessing Health System's department of Obstetrics & Gynecology seeks an additional OB/GYN to it's established, busy practice. Currently, our group is staffed by four Board Certified OB/GYN physicians and three nurse practitioners. We seek a board certified OB/GYN or board tracking resident who has outstanding clinical skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to generate exceptionally high and consistent patient and staff satisfaction. The OB/GYN practice is located in a newer clinic building connected via sky-bridge to the hospital. The Blessing Breast Center, a state-of-the-art mammography facility is adjacent to the clinic. The hospital offers full support services for deliveries, newborns, and gynecological surgery, including LDR rooms, a high-risk nursery, and both in-patient and out-patient surgery. There are in-house CRNAs as well as a Laborist group 24-7. Call schedule will be 1:4. Weekend call 1:8

Blessing is the largest medical provider serving a 300,000+ population region composed of West Central Illinois, Northeast Missouri, and Southeast Iowa. The System operates Blessing Hospital, a 349-bed regional referral center in Quincy, Illinois, (population 45,000) and Illini Community Hospital, a 25-bed critical access hospital in Pittsfield, Illinois, (population 4,200).

Quincy is located two hours from St. Louis, three and a half hours from Kansas City, and four hours from Chicago. Daily flights connect Quincy Baldwin Field with Chicago O'Hare International Airport, and Amtrak provides two round trips daily to Chicago.
