Position Summary The ProviderPay Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing complex healthcare provider payment data to identify trends, ensure accuracy, and support strategic decision-making within Strategic Health Alliance II, Inc.
Compensation:
Target rate for this role is between $33 and $34 per hour.
Location:
While this role is fully remote, we do require candidates live within a drivable distance of the Columbus, OH location.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, clean, and validate large datasets related to provider payments, claims, and reimbursement.
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and payment patterns.
Perform root cause analysis on payment discrepancies, denials, and underpayments/overpayments.
Collaborate with finance, operations, and contracting teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings through data analysis.
Assist in the development and testing of new payment models and systems.
Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ensure data integrity and compliance with relevant healthcare regulations.
Minimum Requirements Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience.
Education Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Critical Skills
2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the healthcare or health insurance industry.
Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with healthcare reimbursement methodologies (e.g., fee-for-service, value-based care) is a plus.

Our Base Pay Range for this position $31.73 - $52.89
